Biomyc speaker and presenter at IAA and MeConvention

Biomyc was invited to exhibit and speak at Me Convention by Mercedes Benz at the world’s largest mobility show – IAA.

SXSW and Mercedes-Benz are once again joining forces to present the third edition of me Convention, an annual conference where curious and creative minds gather to examine worldwide developments, share their visions of a better future, and create solutions to reach them.

This year’s me Convention returns to Frankfurt am Main in Germany, running Wednesday, September 11 – Friday, September 13 during the International Motor Show (IAA), and programming announcements have begun with the return of Startup Cities and a new focus on local entrepreneurship in the host city’s neighborhood.

Around 2,200 attendees from over 30 countries joined to hear 130 speakers and approximately 33 talks and 50 workshops.

Biomyc has the honor of being invited as a startup exhibitor and a panelist in the panel discussion on Circular Economy. We had a great, honest and open discussion about “Circular Economy – sustainability keeps the world go round” with the panelists Dr. Philipp Gneiting, Head of Open Innovation Daimler AG, Andreas Janne, Head of Sustainability REHAU, Matthias Poguntke, Innovation Manager BASF, and Atanas Enev, Co-Founder Biomyc.

The event was held for over three days and helped innovators around the world meet up and discuss the hottest topics concerning global technological development. A particularly great highlight of the event was the interview of Lewis Hamilton on stage about improving one’s self and controlling the personal narrative

The festival-like atmosphere of me Convention continued during the event’s third edition and includes Urban Hotspots in Frankfurt’s Old Town area. Galleries, restaurants, cafes and clubs offered attendees a unique program of tours, promotions, DJ-sets and much more. The opening night of the me Convention was a highlight, especially for fans of electronic music. The performance of the Norwegian star DJ Alan Walker is a prime example. Alan Walker, a new European brand ambassador for smart, will appear at festivals and in trendy clubs worldwide with his current Aviation Tour. The DJ and producer performed on Wednesday evening, September 11, with an exclusive live set at the Frankfurt Festhalle at the IAA exhibition area.
